Job Overview

This role sits within the Colmore Data Service team, a core internal development team responsible for Colmore’s application platform and data engineering solutions. We are searching for a forward-thinking, creative individual, to join our highly skilled team in either our London or Birmingham office.

We are looking to appoint a candidate who is comfortable in solving complex problems whilst maintaining a high standard for development. A self-starter mentality, strong team working skills and a passion for continuous improvement are all required to help us meet challenging and dynamic business objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilise your fullstack development skills (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) to build scalable and supportable data platforms within our Azure cloud enironment to enable fast-flowing data within the business.
  • Enhance our data integration capabilities at the backend by building scalable ETL pipelines (using SSIS).
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by writing advanced SQL queries and carrying out performance tuning.
  • Support our BI team by building high-performing pipelines from our data platforms into PowerBI.
Qualifications:
  • You're skilled in the Microsoft Fullstack development tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) within an Azure cloud environment.
  • You possess a strong technical background in developing ETL pipelines using SSIS.
  • You have deep understanding into building pipelines from the data platforms into a front end visualisation tool.
  • You're proficient in SQL language with the ability to write complex codes.
  • You're a problem solving, forward-thinking data professional with the ability to translate complex technical solutions to non-technical colleagues.
